Carrier Unveils Comprehensive Indoor Air Quality Strategy to Address Wildfire-Related Health Concerns

INDIANAPOLIS – Carrier has announced a strategic initiative to enhance indoor air quality in response to the growing health risks caused by widespread wildfires across North America. The program emphasizes preventive measures to reduce exposure to harmful particulate matter, known to aggravate respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

The company recommends that property owners and facility managers adopt targeted actions, including installing high-efficiency HVAC filters, sealing structural gaps, and using HEPA-equipped portable purifiers.

“Indoor environments are not immune to wildfire smoke. Our advanced solutions are designed to protect air quality and improve community well-being,” said Nick Arch, Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions at Carrier.

To underscore its commitment to public welfare, Carrier recently donated $2.5 million worth of air purification units to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles.
