Gasoline Prices Increase by ₱3.50 Per Litre in the Philippines

Fuel prices in the Philippines have experienced varied adjustments, with gasoline prices rising while diesel and kerosene have decreased. On Tuesday, major fuel retailers such as Shell, Seaoil, PetroGazz, and Jetti Petroleum increased gasoline prices by ₱3.50 per litre. In contrast, diesel prices saw a reduction of ₱1 per litre.

Alongside the changes in gasoline and diesel, Shell and Seaoil also lowered the price of kerosene by ₱1.90 per litre. This reduction provides some relief to households and consumers dependent on kerosene for fuel.

The recent adjustments follow last week’s pricing trends, where gasoline prices were reduced by ₱0.30 per litre, and diesel and kerosene saw increases of ₱1.20 and ₱0.50 per litre respectively. The current shifts in fuel costs are expected to affect motorists and households differently, depending on their specific fuel usage and transportation needs.
